Overview
Anugami is a production ecommerce platform. I contributed across the storefront and backend — product discovery, cart and checkout flows, order management, and the admin tools the team uses to run the store day to day.
The Problem
The business needed to sell online with a storefront that felt fast on mobile, was easy for non-technical staff to manage, and could grow its catalog without engineering involvement for every change.
Architecture
Storefront
Server-rendered Next.js pages for catalog and product detail, with client-side interactivity for cart and filters.
API layer
REST endpoints for products, cart, orders, and customers, with validation and auth middleware.
Data
MongoDB collections for products, orders, and users, indexed for catalog queries and order lookups.
Admin
A protected dashboard for catalog and order operations so staff can manage the store themselves.
Key Features & My Role
- Product catalog with search, filtering, and category browsing
- Cart, checkout, and order-tracking flows built for mobile-first shoppers
- Admin dashboard for products, inventory, and order management
- SEO-friendly, server-rendered product pages for fast first loads

Outcomes & Results
- Gave the team a single place to manage catalog, stock, and orders.
- Shipped a storefront that stays responsive on mid-range mobile devices.
- Established reusable commerce components later reused across other builds.
Reflection
Ecommerce looks simple until edge cases arrive — stock races, partial orders, and coupon rules. Modeling order states carefully up front saved the most rework.
