Overview
Lotusmart is a freelance project — a premium dry fruits storefront designed to feel as high-quality as the products. I handled design, development, and deployment, from catalog structure to checkout.
The Problem
The client sold premium dry fruits through chat and word of mouth. They needed a branded storefront that built trust, handled variants and gifting, and let customers order on their own.
Architecture
Storefront
Brand-led Next.js pages with product galleries, variants, and gifting bundles.
Checkout
Cart and checkout with payment-gateway integration and order confirmation.
API layer
Endpoints for products, orders, and customers with input validation.
Data
MongoDB for products, variants, orders, and customer details.
Key Features & My Role
- Premium product catalog with weight and pack-size variants
- Gift boxes and bundles for festive and corporate ordering
- Streamlined checkout with online payments
- Fast, SEO-optimized pages to attract organic search traffic

Outcomes & Results
- Moved the client from chat-based orders to an always-on online store.
- Delivered a polished brand presence that matches the premium positioning.
- Handed over a store the client can manage without developer help.
Reflection
Freelance work is as much about listening as building. Understanding how the client actually sold — gifting, repeat orders — shaped the product structure more than any feature list.
